Bryce Canyon

Hikes
Walking trails along the 5-mile Rim Trail: Incredible at dawn or dusk when the hoodoos glow like embers
Canyon hikes: Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trail (3 miles in total) or the 8-mile Fairyland Loop Trail
Horse Rides
2 hours along the floor of the canyon (7-year age limit) or a ½ day complete tour of the canyon (10-year age limit).
“Just for Kids” program
(Jun-Aug) 45-60 minute programs consisting of games and activities designed for kids to learn about the cultural or natural history of Bryce Canyon National Park.
Junior Ranger Program
This program is designed to teach kids about the park’s ecology. Each potential Junior Ranger is required to do workbook activities, attend a ranger-guided program, and collect and throw away a bag of litter inside the park. At the end of the program, they receive a Junior Ranger badge, patch and certificate.
