Grand Circle Experience - One Week Loop
Leaving from Las Vegas, you’ll stop at Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon. (If you wish to spend more time at the Grand Canyon, you can go directly there from Bryce Canyon, leaving out Monument Valley and Capitol Reef. Or you can make the drive from Capitol Reef to the Grand Canyon in one day, passing through Monument Valley on the way – approx. 10 hour drive.)
Drive from Las Vegas to Zion National Park (155 miles).
Activities might include a horseback ride along the Virgin River, a hike of the Emerald Pools, or fishing.
Drive from Zion to Bryce Canyon (75 miles). Spend the rest of the day exploring Bryce Canyon National Park. Activities might include hiking the Rim Trail, Navajo Loop or Fairyland Loop.
Drive from Bryce Canyon to Capitol Reef (110 miles). This drive follows along route 12, easily one of the most beautiful roads in the US. Spend the rest of the day exploring Capitol Reef National Park.
Drive from Capitol Reef to Monument Valley Tribal Park (approx 191 miles). The iconic red sandstone buttes of this famous valley have been the backdrop to many TV and movie westerns. The park is entirely contained within the Navajo Nation Reservation.
Drive from Monument Valley to the Grand Canyon (approx 180 miles). Spend the rest of the day exploring the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Activities might include a scenic air tour, a mule or horseback ride, or a day hike along the canyon rim.
Spend the morning exploring the canyon. In the afternoon, return to Las Vegas (279 miles, approx. 6 hour drive).
