The Royal Automobile Club's annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run is the world's longest running motoring event.
Early November—Lord Mayor's Show
A full day of activities mark this 800 year old tradition. The festivities start at 11 am with a RAF flyby. Then the procession travels from Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice, where the Lord Mayor takes an oath of allegiance to the Queen. The day finishes with London's grandest fireworks display from a barge moored in the Thames between Blackfriars and Waterloo brides.
