Getting There
You can take a charter flight from home airport to Aspen airport or take a commercial flight to Denver and transfer to the Aspen airport. Another great alternative is to take a commercial flight to the Eagle/Vail airport, 1.5 hour from Aspen. Eagle/Vail handles much larger jets and offers many direct flights from major cities like LA, SF, and NYC.
We also pick up 2 cars at the hotel, one for our family and a second with a driver to take the luggage to vacation home. If you are staying at a hotel, most provide transport, so a rental car is not needed or recommended.
