Located in the heart of Britsh Columbia, Chilko Lake’s translucent waters invite exploration, as does the Chilko River flowing out of its north end. Based out of the luxurious Lodge at Chilko Lake, we spend our days exploring the countryside and valleys that have made this region famous.

Cast a line in a crystal clear river that never clouds, raft through the lava canyons of the Chilko River, mountain bike, hike or horseback in the Coast Range, kayak on a wilderness lake that stretches for miles without even so much as a road. Fly over towering ridges and glacial lakes, photograph acres of wildflowers, and watch grizzlies in the wild. The variety of scenery and activities on this trip unfolds in a panorama of changing vistas. Each day, we will return to the elegant comfort and charm of our private luxury residence to indulge in fine wine and great food.

This customized Galapagos trip is the most active and scenic way to experience the archipelago. Enjoy exotic and abundant wildlife and unique, scenic locations, without the crowds, as we sail through Ecuador’s volcanic Galápagos islands on an 80-ft, wide and stable catamaran. Our exclusive island-hopping itinerary has been designed so participants can kayak, hike, surf and snorkel their way through the archipelago in an intimate and actively rewarding manner. With only 12 guests in 6 cabins on the region's finest sail catamaran, you can pick and choose you own activity levels while our North American ROAM guide and a local Level III naturalist take care of all the details.

Days are spent bobbing with blue-footed boobies, swimming nose-to-nose with friendly and playful sea lions, snorkeling and kayaking with sea turtles and observing breath-taking marine, bird and wildlife. Additional activities include hiking, surfing, horseback riding and optional diving for those who are inclined. Evenings feature plenty of time to lounge aboard our private yacht while savoring delightful regional cuisine prepared fresh daily.
