While in Melbourne, you'll take a scenic helicopter flight along the Great Ocean Road. One of the nation’s most breathtaking touring routes, this road winds its way precariously through the wilderness and along Victoria’s spectacular southwestern coastline. Charming villages, dramatic limestone cliffs, and world famous surf beaches line the way, dominated by the 12 Apostles - a landmark series of striking rock stacks that rise out of the Southern Ocean.


Next is Ayers Rock (Uluru), Australia's most recognisable natural icon, rising nearly 350m high from the broad desert plains. Forty kilometres to the west of Ayers Rock is Kata Tjuta (meaning “many heads”), also known as The Olgas - a group of more than 30 massive red domes rising from the desert floor. Dating back 500 million years and an important focus of the Aboriginal people’s spiritual life, it is impossible not to feel humbled by this inspiring landscape.


You'll end your journey with three relaxing days at the famous Great Barrier Reef. This 1,240-mile collection of colourful coral reefs stretching along the Queensland seaboard is one of the seven wonders of the natural world and makes for some of the most spectacular diving landscape imaginable. Dotted amongst its turquoise waters are hundreds of mainly uninhabited islands, a hand-selected few of which offer some of Australia’s finest holiday destinations, catering to romantics, nature lovers, honeymooners, divers and families.
