You’ll continue to Delos, with its famous ruins, and Paros, with its fascinating monastery. Next, you’ll visit the magnificent beaches and coves of Ios. Santorini will impress you with its geological contrasts, while Sikinos and Folegandros offer authenticity and wild natural beauty. You’ll move on to Sifnos, known for its honey, and rocky Serifos, topped by a walled village. You’ll travel to Kithnos, with its whitewashed houses and charming cafes, and wrap up your journey with a visit to the temple of Poseidon on Sounin. During your visits, you’ll have ample opportunities to swim, take in the sights, and sample the extraordinary local cuisine. And between destinations, you’ll have plenty of time to relax on board your private yacht and enjoy the care and attention of our experienced crew.
KEA (TZIA): A small rocky and picturesque island. A nice beach with clear waters and fish taverns. The first taste of the Aegean Islands. Enjoy the sea and then go directly to the tavern for fresh fish, Greek salad and fried kalamari (squid). You do not have to change, wear your swimsuit and leave the sea salt on you.
SYROS: Lying on the heart of the Northern Cyclades, Syros is the administrative commercial and cultural center and one of the most densely populated. The coastline is made up of a number of bays of varying sizes, with several promontories and two larger bays, the Gulf of Ermoupoli on the east coast and Finikas Bay on the west where you will enjoy your swim. Ermoupoli the "Grand Old Lady of the Cyclades", is the capital of Syros and the undisputed capital of all the Cyclades islands where you will be staying overnight. Also don't miss Ano Syros with its fortifying walls, narrow alleys and arcades which has managed to retain its mediaeval appearance almost intact.
MYKONOS: One of the most cosmopolitan of all Greek islands, Mykonos has an international reputation and quite justifiably attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world, amongst them many intellectuals and well-known artists. The high mountains encountered in most of the Cyclades islands give way to small rocky hills which combine with beautiful beaches to make up the landscape of the island. The night life here is an experience. Drink, dance, have fun! But first of all live this magic moment, the sunset from the little Venice of Mykonos.
DELOS: This uninhabited island is one vast archaeological site and its remarkable monuments today attract thousands of visitors who come to pay homage to a place that was the cultural and religious centre of the Aegean from the 9th century BC for approximately a thousand years.
PAROS: You will be visiting the monastery of "Panagia Ekatontapiliani" which means "with the hundred gates". Out of them only the 99 have been found. Try and locate the 100th. Paros also offers great landscaping and superb swimming locations.
IOS: The coastline of this predominantly mountainous island is festooned with a multitude of picturesque little coves which combined with the innumerable churches and chapels the olive clad hills and vineyards, the clear air and crystal-clear sea, magnificent sandy beaches and excellent tourist facilities, attract a great deal of visitors to the island.
SANTORINI (Thira): The celebrated Cyclades island of Santorini is different from the rest of the Cyclades group by virtue of its interesting geological structure, the result of the eruptions of a now inactive volcano. The landscape is extremely imposing on the western side of the island, where little white houses perch on top of gigantic, steep rocks that plunge abruptly into the sea. In contrast to the sheer cliffs on the west, the coast on the eastern side of the island has endless stretches of beach with sand or shingle.
SIKINOS: Having so far succeeded in maintaining its true island colour intact, Sikinos holds great attraction for those seeking tranquillity and authenticity.
FOLEGANDROS: This small, rocky island lying between Sikinos and Milos has been inhabited since ancient times. The barren landscape, with its gigantic rocks and marvelous stretches of sand, possesses a wild natural beauty.
SIFNOS: Buy honey - the best in the world - , a ceramic pot. Back home cook something delicious. Put in the pot all kinds of meat, potatoes, oregano, olive oil, salt, pepper and no water at all. Put the pot in the oven at very low heat, let it simmer for at least ten hours. A surprise to your friends......
SERIFOS: The town is built on the top of a hill, surrounded by walls intending to protect the island from the raids of pirates. A rocky beautiful island with a spectacular view from the inner chora (village).
KITHNOS: Beautiful sandy beaches, white washed houses, small cafes called "Kafenion" in Greek, a unique atmosphere where life seems endless.....
SOUNION: The temple of Poseidon, the god of the seal. We thought it is the ideal place to end our trip via the same sea routes which the ancient Greeks followed many centuries ago.
