Covering some of Africa’s oldest and most famous game reserves, this classic 17-day itinerary works especially well for the Great Migration when it is in on both sides of the Mara River (ideally from August to October). This safari really does hit the highlights – the Serengeti and Masai Mara are deservedly renowned for their game viewing and as the setting of the Great Migration; Ngorongoro Crater is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa, while Tarangire has one of Africa’s largest elephant concentrations, and the Selous offers the widest variety of safari activities in the country.
You'll be met in Nairobi and transferred to Wilson Airport, where you will collect your air tickets for Safari Link and be transferred for your Safari Link flight into the Mara (Musiara airstrip).
