This itinerary combines the incomparable experience of a private African safari with the barefoot luxury of a beach holiday in Zanzibar. First, you’ll travel to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, home to one of densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including the endangered Black Rhino. Here, you’ll take game drives on the crater floor and explore the Ngorongoro Highlands. Next, you’ll travel to Saskawa Lodge in the Grumeti Reserves, for four days of private game viewing on the Serengeti plains. Then it’s off to your exclusive resort on Mnemba Island in Zanzibar, where you’ll enjoy five days of snorkeling and diving on an unspoiled coral atoll.

You will be met on arrival in Kilimanjaro International airport and flown to Lake Manyara. You will be met and driven through the Ngorongoro Highlands to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Overnight at the Crater Lodge on a fully inclusive basis
Private Safaris Private safaris in the Crater and overnights at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge on a fully inclusive basis
Located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, the Lodge employs its own army of craftsmen, who work from here to create the chandeliers and endless imaginative wood, glass and brass trimmings and fittings seen in each of the Tanzanian Conservation Corporation properties, and who give this one their elaborate and innovative designs.
Guests enjoy views out over the Ngorongoro Crater itself from the bathtub and shower, and could hardly hope to find such chic and quirky accommodation so conducive to romance, or to satisfying a healthy appetite.
Voted year on year as one of the top ten hotels on the planet, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is quite rightly the flagship property for the Conservation Corporation. The buildings themselves are bizarre to say the least due to the amalgamation of various different styles. But it all adds up to being a wonderful experience. The butler service and the views from anywhere in your room, will make sure that you remember the crater for a long time afterwards.
Game drives on the Crater floor are an unforgettable experience as is walking around the Ngorongoro Highlands

Fly from Sasakwa to Zanzibar and transferred to Mnemba island for your final 6 nights on a fully inclusive basis including snorkelling and diving
Located just off the North East Coast of Zanzibar (but visible from it), is a tiny dream island with the impressive accolade of being one of the most romantic and exclusive coral atoll islands in the world.
Mnemba Island Lodge has the best beach on Zanzibar; sandy shores are surrounded by a rich, colourful reef brimming with fish, both small and pretty and large and impressive - such as dolphin, barracuda, tuna and shark-like swimmers.
At the island centre is a cool pine forest, and the eastern coastal aspect feels quite wild and unkempt despite its diminutive size. The lodge is stylishly run by Conservation Corporation Africa as a private and exclusive retreat for serious island hoppers who seek to find a very special kind of island idyll, and aims to provide an ultimate experience of "barefoot luxury" in an entirely comfortable desert island style.
Accommodation is in just 8 roomy thatched beach bandas with bathrooms set back along a soft corridor of woven coconut palm, each set back from the beach in a private clearing in the forest. All bedrooms, verandas and central living areas are atmospherically designed with light cotton nets, soft African prints and cushions, and - once the astronomical rates have been afforded - all fresh tropical cocktails, diving expeditions, water sports and fishing trips are included.
The lodge runs a professional dive school and traditional wooden dhows from which to explore the warm clear waters and coral reefs, and guests return to their island hideaway to enjoy sumptuous feasts of fresh fruit, vegetables, seafood and meats all fabulously prepared and presented. Visitors to this most exclusive of Indian Ocean island hideaways could find themselves sharing cocktails with Mnemba-fan Bill Gates.
