Ana Maria Pickens has been a trusted counselor to the most discriminating travelers since 1994. As a Certified Travel Counselor and Destination Specialist for the American Express Centurion cardholders, Ana Maria has arranged custom travel ranging from family safaris to private yacht honeymoons. In two decades as a travel professional she has personally vetted the best hotels and travel services on all the continents except Antarctica. In both 2010 and 2011, she was selected for the Travel + Leisure A-List for World's Top Travel Agents, under the Special Interest category for Family Travel.

Ana Maria's lifelong passion for travel began when she worked for the Peace Corps in Ecuador. Now based in Atlanta, she has spent most of her career working with highly sophisticated travelers. The key to meeting their demands is listening carefully, understanding their expectations, then drawing on her worldwide contacts to meet those expectations.

Ana Maria raised two daughters, and understands the pleasures of family travel without compromise. She begins with destinations and itineraries that fit each family's requirements, and finds the guides that love to work with children. Then there are the special services, like the time she arranged for a Christmas tree and presents to be waiting in the hotel room in Hong Kong when a family arrived for their holiday vacation.
